Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Gramos Imeri ("I", "me", or the "Developer") handles information when you use PagePaws (the "App"), a reading companion for iOS. Kyro is the cat companion featured inside PagePaws.

• Account information: An account identifier and, when provided through Sign in with Apple, your name and email address.
• Profile information: Your display name, optional bio, friend code, selected avatar, background, and reading-space preferences.
• Books and reading activity: Books you add, current, paused, or finished status, reading-session duration, progress summaries, streaks, and rewards earned in the App.
• Friends and shared sessions: Friend requests, accepted friendships, open-session participation, and the time each participant spends in a shared session.
• Preferences: Language, reading-reminder settings, ambient-sound choices, and customization selections.
• Purchase information: Subscription products, purchase status, and Pro entitlement information. PagePaws does not receive your complete payment-card details.
• Technical information: Information that service providers process to operate and secure the App, such as device, network, request, and error information.

• To create and secure your account.
• To sync your profile, books, sessions, progress, rewards, and preferences.
• To let direct friends find one another, view the social profile information described below, and read together in open sessions.
• To manage purchases and unlock PagePaws Pro features.
• To provide book search, maintain reliability, prevent misuse, and respond to support requests.

PagePaws is not a public social network. People you have accepted as direct friends may see your display name, bio, avatar, friend code, reading-space appearance, book-library summaries, reading statistics, and whether you have an active session. Only direct friends can see and join a session you mark as open. Private sessions are visible only to you.

PagePaws relies on a small number of providers to deliver the App:

• Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, and platform services.
• Convex: Authentication support, cloud storage, synchronization, and server functions.
• RevenueCat: Subscription products, purchase processing support, and Pro entitlement status.
• Open Library: Book search and cover images. A search query is sent to Open Library when you use book search.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer.

If you enable a reading reminder, PagePaws asks for notification permission and schedules the reminder on your device. You can turn reminders off in the App or change notification permission in your device settings.

Information is kept only for as long as it is needed to provide the App, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service.

You can permanently delete your account from PagePaws settings. This removes the account and associated App data, subject to short operational backups or records that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or transaction purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete your personal information. You can update many profile details inside PagePaws or contact me to make a request. You may also withdraw notification permission through iOS settings.

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than your own, with protections required by applicable law.

PagePaws is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact me.
