Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply when you download, access, or use PagePaws (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use PagePaws. If local law requires a higher minimum age, that higher age applies. You are responsible for your account, for keeping access to it secure, and for providing accurate information. Do not impersonate another person or let someone misuse your account.

PagePaws helps you organize books, run timed reading sessions, create an ambient sound mix, view reading progress, customize a reading space, earn in-App rewards, connect with direct friends, and join eligible open sessions. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as the App develops.

• A private session is available only to the person who starts it.
• An open session is not public. Only accepted direct friends of the host may see and join it.
• The host controls the session. If the host ends it, the session ends for every participant.
• Each participant receives credit only for the time they actually spend in the session.

Be respectful. Do not use names, bios, friend requests, or any social feature to harass, threaten, deceive, or harm another person.

Book search results, metadata, and cover images may come from Open Library or other third-party sources. That content may be incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate, and remains subject to the rights and terms of its provider. PagePaws does not give you ownership of third-party book content.

• Some sounds, statistics, customizations, rewards, or other features may require PagePaws Pro.
• Prices, billing periods, trial terms, and included features are shown before purchase and may vary by region.
• Purchases are processed through the App Store and supported by RevenueCat. The store’s payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules apply.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions continue until canceled through your Apple account settings, subject to the terms shown at purchase.

Fish, points, cosmetics, and other virtual items are licensed for use only inside PagePaws. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and may be adjusted or discontinued as the App evolves. You may not exploit bugs or unauthorized tools to obtain them.

You agree not to:

• Break the law or violate another person’s rights.
• Interfere with, reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its services, except where law expressly permits it.
• Circumvent subscription, access, security, or session controls.
• Upload or submit malicious, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or unlawful information.

PagePaws, its original artwork, software, text, branding, and design are owned by the Developer or licensed to the Developer. You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.

PagePaws is provided "as is" and "as available." Reading history, progress, streaks, reminders, sounds, social presence, and third-party book information may occasionally be delayed, interrupted, or inaccurate. To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that the App will always be secure, error-free, or available.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use PagePaws. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Access may be suspended or terminated if you materially violate these Terms, create risk for other people, or misuse the service. You may stop using PagePaws at any time and can delete your account from the App’s settings. Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

These Terms may be updated as PagePaws changes. The date above will show when the latest version took effect. If a change materially affects your rights, reasonable notice will be provided where required by law. Continuing to use the App after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
